Mashable is reporting that YouTube is now allowing users who upload video to opt-out of having ads on their videos. Good idea, but we truly believe that this is still a good move and more and more people will start opting in once they see the bucks they generate. More at Yahoo! news.

In an attempt to appease the rising number of YouTube users that are unhappy with the new video overlay advertisements, as well as content owners, Google has announced its plans to offer more control to content owners regarding the new video system.

Only videos from content owners that have registered for InVideo, the new advertising program on YouTube, will display ads. This will leave the majority of YouTube clips ad-free, which should make a lot of users happy again. Though, many users won’t want to see an advertisement over a video clip anyway, and could probably find another version that’s without ads.
