Over on my marketing blog at JimKukral.com, I wrote a post a while back about porn on YouTube. That post is consistently one of my top viewed posts from organic search results.

Why? It’s obvious isn’t it? People like to watch porn online so the majority of search traffic comes in from those search phrases.

But what’s really interesting is when you start to look at what YouTube considers to be porn, or not porn. All of the videos I mentioned in my other post have since been removed, but when I go to YouTube today and look for new adult-type material, I can still find it.

Is it simply a matter of YouTube not being able to catch the videos because they’re going up so fast? You would think that with their screening process in place that these videos would not go through at all? Yet… they still do.

Meanwhile, you have companies like PornoTube.com which are embracing porn. Can you imagine what the bandwidth costs are?
